Photo Story layouts are important because pictures tend to be the first thing someone notices before reading an entire article or all of the text. Having a confusing photo story can cause readers to skim through or completely skip the piece all together.

I think this is a great example because you can clearly understand the image on top is the main image not only because it is first but because it is also the largest image. The next two images are one above the other which makes is easy to understand the order or images. It seems as if the main image has a caption and the bottom two have one under the last picture as well.

This example is the worst in my opinion.  I think its confused in the sense that the second image is largest. If it's the main image why isn't it first? It makes me think that the top image isn't really important. The text is also all the way down at the bottom right which makes it seem unimportant and off to the side. There is also very minimum negative space between images and only one caption to the right between the top 2 and bottom 2 images. This would've been much easier to understand if the images were slightly smaller and had a caption below each.

The Lion King Rises For my move trailer mashup I used the video from The Lion King and the audio from The Dark Night Rises. I had to match up the audio so it matched the video when people were talking. Surprisingly some places matched up easily whereas other I needed to work harder to get the voices to line up. I used Adobe Premiere to edit the video/audio.

What I included: - Running noise - Water pouring - Snoring How/Why: I used all of these noises to help the audience get a better feel for what I was talking about. This first sound is he running noise. I used my feet on a hardwood floor. https://soundcloud.com/user-939585680/run-1 The second noise is water from the tap. https://soundcloud.com/user-939585680/new-recording-5 Lastly, the third is snoring, and I tried my best to mimic a snoring noise. https://soundcloud.com/user-939585680/snoring
