Intro: For this post we had three options. I decided to do the last option, to photoshop a picture for a friend. Instead of using a friends picture I decided to use a picture of myself. I started with a picture of my sister and me from our trip to Los Angeles last weekend. I used the eraser tool to get rid of the background (and my sister). I found images on google of a red carpet and had to make sure the angle the picture was taken would match the way I was standing. I used the red carpet as the background layer and the image of myself as a new layer.

Intro:  For this assignment, I photographed the pattern on my dogs bed. I used tools in indesign such as the "eye dropper" and "rectangle tool". I put all of the squares next to one another and then adjusted the colors. The far left is the original colors, the middle is set to 75% and the far right is 50%. Task 3: Nameplates ...

1. Limiting Fonts: This brochure did a great job of limiting the fonts. There are two main fonts on the front, and two on the inside as well. There are 5 different fonts overall. 2. Limiting Colors: The brochure used a purple and white color scheme. Although there are different shades of purple the brochure does a good job sticking to purple, black and white. 3. Contrast Contrast Contrast The white and black contrast against the two shades of purple. The images help contrast against the negative space as well. 4. Trifold Brochure Writing Tips The size is spot on, this is 8.5x11. I think the title and the image stands out and draws the reader in. The front cover is clear with an image and the back is clear with the negative space.
