First I started off with a picture of my puppy and in the background is the little boy I nanny for. He decided to photobomb the picture, so it worked out well for the assignment. I cropped the boy out of the image (and made sure not to erase the cropped pixels). Then I applied different layers. I changed the brightness/contras, levels, curves, vibrance and lastly I applied a black/white layer and used the paintbrush tool and the black color and applied the color to my image while leaving the background b&w.

a) This commercial communicates well with hearing-impaired audience members because, it teaches the importance of communicated with the deaf. The deaf community is large and it is important to learn sign language to communicate with those who are hearing impaired. This commercial shows that Marriott goes the extra mile for all of its customers, especially those with disabilities. Using sign language throughout the commercial shows us this.   b) The commercial does a really great job communicating and being able to communicate with the deaf community. The deaf community has an advantage in this commercial because the women are signing words and conversations that aren't subtitled for hearing people.   c) The commercial does nothing for visually impaired people. The majority of the commercial is just instrumental music until they say “Treating other like we’d like to be treated, has always been our guiding principle.” A visual impaired person would be able to unders...

The Lion King Rises For my move trailer mashup I used the video from The Lion King and the audio from The Dark Night Rises. I had to match up the audio so it matched the video when people were talking. Surprisingly some places matched up easily whereas other I needed to work harder to get the voices to line up. I used Adobe Premiere to edit the video/audio.

What I included: - Running noise - Water pouring - Snoring How/Why: I used all of these noises to help the audience get a better feel for what I was talking about. This first sound is he running noise.
